Safety precautions against opening under pressure

- Pressure warning device – electrically operated.
- After releasing internal pressure an electrical magnet releases a locking rod, cover can be opened.
- Safety interlock switch – magnetic or safety inductive proximity sensor, to detect closed position of cover.
- Pressure warning device – ball valve.
- Hand-operated ball valve, whose operational lever reaches into the central locking mechanism. Before the opening of the manhole can be executed it must be checked whether the vessel is pressurized.
- Catching device (optional)
- Prevents the lid from opening if there is any residual pressure.
- Backpressure prevention (optional)
- Prevents opening of the central locking mechanism if there is residual pressure more than 0,2 bar.
